When I entered the controlcircle from northeast, I ran on an yellow area merging with the long north-south yellow before the control.
On the map there is just one, and than it is just to continue in the same direction to the control. But in the reality the yellow areas is 30 meter futher north[?], and there it is yellow on the map, there it is very green in the terrain.

Frustriert über den Rückstand und im Wissen, dass ich eine super Ausgangslage zunichte gemacht hatte, beschwerte ich mich auch über diesen Posten. Obwohl ich mit etwas Abstand sagen muss, dass er nicht ganz so „Bingo“ war, finde ich trotzdem, dass der Standort etwas unglücklich war. Wenn man die kleine Lichtung als Objekt genommen hätte, wäre ein genauso detailliertes Lesen nötig gewesen. Wenn man dann aber am richtigen Ort ist, sähe man den Posten. Beim Loch im Busch war dies allerdings nicht der Fall und es gab Läufer, die ganz nahe an der Flagge kreisten (Beispiel: Olav Lundanes, Norwegen).Matthias Merz in seiner WM Analyse

Compare with the old map:http://woc2011.fr/images/document/cartes_interdites/feclaz.jpg, and you see that the yellow is wrong.
@anoymus: so then the old map was better there. What exactly do you mean?
Interessting blog, and nice with the old WOC-maps, keep posting them!
I can say that I have spend some time thinking about the 15.ctr at the WOC relay:) After the race I was out looking at the control ones again, and I have to say that it was very strange. I have done so much mapmakeing that I know it is not just to say that a map is wrong, but hier it was very close at least.

So I have to agree that the old map was better, but I think a lot of us can not blame the map;)
