Ein Wechsel rot -> rot entspricht der Zeit, die benötigt wird 256m flach einer Strasse entlang zu rennen. I've never seen this one - thanks a lot for the tip. Great article - I've had exactly the same thoughts and the same algorithm thought out. So I guess the thoughts have to be good:) Going to try with live data, though. Do you know the contact information for the author (it looks like he is Swiss)?

Yeah. According to the Swiss Phone Book and to his employers website (Ernst Basler & Partner) the correspondence adress at the end of the article (p.21) is still valid.
